Chaz and I dream of someday owning a craftsmen-style home. For now our 1980's tri-level will have to do. I have slowly grown to appreciate the elements of charm it does have, and the potential to add our own touches throughout. We love the elegant look of wainscoting and crown molding combined with Joanna Gaines' trendy farmhouse-chic style. We decided to tackle the dining room as our first house project. Our budget was small, so we decided to paint and build wainscoting using the help of Chaz's friend and dad. With some homemade shelves and the touch of a new light fixture, I'm very happy with how it turned out!
