Double the fun

This weekend was twice as nice because it was twice as long.  Thanks to Mother Nature (and some over-excited meteorologists) we had a snow day on both Thursday AND Friday!  It couldn't have been more perfectly timed.  No snow day comes without its inconveniences, this week will be a bit crazy with rescheduling parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and having two days of curriculum to make up.  But to have two days to catch up on laundry, finish thank you notes, and order wedding pictures (!) was a piece of bliss.  Saturday we spent in Omaha with Chaz's family.  We had so much fun catching up with his mom and dad and hanging out with our friend Luke Spehar.  Luke is headed west to record an album, and on the way he's doing concerts to raise money.  Chaz's parents hosted a concert at Bella Terre.  There was a great turnout of about 100 people.  He is fabulously talented.  Check him out on iTunes!
