Halloween 2017

Halloween this year has felt like a month long! Charlie received a hand-me-down Scooby Doo costume from Grandma in early October.  I was happy he loved his costume, but he quite possibly loved it a little too much.  Every day after school he would ask to wear it.  By the time Trick-or Treating on Halloween night came around both of my boys were over it. Ha! So was mom. :-)
There was the most beautiful, peaceful snow falling while we walked down our street with our neighbors, but it was cold! We made it down the street and back up before calling it a night.

Leading up to the holiday we attended a Trunk or Treat at the local outdoor mall (so fun!), and carved a pumpkin for the first time.  At the  Trunk or Treat event Charlie loved all the people dressed up as characters, but for some reason was terrified of Spider Man. I snapped a picture of him hiding behind dad.  The Scooby Doo face flopping over makes me laugh out loud.  Archie was my little lion.  He was so cute in his costume.  He even "roared" for pictures at Miss Jacqui's house. We had a lot of fun, but I think everyone is ready to move on to simpler, easier holidays, like Thanksgiving.   :-)

Not a fan of Spider Man

Archie was over trick or treating at the mall by this point.
