8 Months!

Another month has passed in the life of Charlie...
This month contained an exciting milestone-Charlie is mobile!  The official crawling date is June 8, 2014-just shy of eight months old.  I managed to get a video of it but I can't upload it here.  Below is a picture of Charlie about to take off. :)

  Hello Mr. Mischievous.  Charlie's ability to crawl has him finding all sorts of fun things to play with, like cords, outlets, cups of water, batteries... :)  Time to baby proof! 

 I tried to lay him down for a nap one day, left the room and returned to find him like this.  He loves his stuffed animals!

Charlie is definitely becoming a mama's boy.  This month he has started saying "mamamama" in association with me.  At first Chaz thought I was crazy, but now it is obvious.  When he is upset or wants to be held, he definitely says my name!

 We have had so much fun using our zoo pass from Memere.

I am feeling very blessed this month being able to be home with Chaz and Charlie.  We are having a blast soaking up the summer sun while also making our house a home.  We planted a garden, are creating a photo wall for our living room, cleaning out storage, and refinishing a dresser for Charlie's room.  I cannot wait to finally have a nursery for him.  Not a day is going to be wasted this summer with my little family.
