My Best Friend's Wedding

Last Saturday one of my best friends, Brittany, got married.  She married her high school sweetheart, Jesse, in a beautiful Mass at St. Joseph's.  After the Mass we danced the night away at the Cornhusker in downtown Lincoln.  I feel so blessed to have been a part of Britt's wedding and witness her marriage.  We have been friends since birth (literally), and growing up together has been one of the great blessings of my life.  Britt is the second of the Myrtle Street Gang to get married, and we couldn't be happier for her.
Aren't they gorgeous?
A couple weeks before the wedding we partied it up at the Old Market in Omaha to celebrate her last few days as a single lady.  It was so much fun!
At the rehearsal dinner Britt gave each of her bridesmaids a photo book of pictures with her through the years. It was such a thoughtful gift.  I love looking through it and reminiscing on old times.
A few memories with Britt stand out to me:
-Running back and forth between our houses all summer long
-Tiny Britt in her cowgirl boots
-Walking to and from school every day
-Sleepovers in Britt's bed in the basement (and all the things she taught us :) )
-The countless volleyball tournaments, practices, and 6am weight trainings at Pius.
-Rocking out at the Phil Vasser concert!

-Britt was my standard Husker football tailgater/partner in crime at every football game in college!
-Sharing a room at the Siena house, and all the laughs, tears, and memories that were made in that room!
-Driving Britt around on her 21st birthday :)
I honestly could go on and on with memories, after all-I do have a lifetime of them! I am so excited for Britt and Jesse and pray that their lives together are filled with love and happiness.  And I can't wait for little Kudrons to be running around!
